Training with chute belonging to MES station in accordance with SOLAS

General information: The course will go ahead provided the minimum number of participants (3) is met.

Endorsement: SOLAS III/Reg.19.3.3.8.

Applicable to: Seafarers on merchant ships equipped with a marine evacuation system (MES).

Entry requirements: Valid health certificate for seafarers, Comprehension of the Faroese language.

Objective: Upon completion of the course, participants will have undergone training with chute for crew members of ships equipped with MES.

Contents: The course consists of theoretical instruction combined with practical training in accordance with the provisions in SOLAS III/Reg.19.3.3.8, with the exception of escape procedures valid on board.

Course length: 2 hours.

Validity: 3 years.

Number of participants: Minimum 3. Maximum 16.
