The safety course at Sjónám provided me with everything I need to know about helping others in emergency situations. The instructors possess a great deal of knowledge about safety, lifesaving first aid and rescue equipment. They are particularly talented when it comes to passing on this vast knowledge to their students. I have no doubt that many lives have been saved as a result of the Sjónám safety course. Everyone, whether they work at sea or on land, could benefit from taking these courses because anyone can suddenly find themselves in a situation where they can save lives with the skills that are taught in these courses.
