Objective: To familiarise seafarers in international shipping with the ISPS code.

• Overview of security awareness on ships
• Introduction to ISPS
• piracy and armed robbery
• Outline of the ISPS code, parts A and B – ports and security
• Overview of questions in the ISPS code, parts A and B – ports and security
• Weapons and illegal substances

Certification: A certificate is issued upon course completion.

Validity: No provision.
